Seminario de doctorado “Por los relieves de la escucha (lo que resuena de la etnografía y cuando deja de retornar)” (2024)

¿Cómo descubrir una entrada fresca al encuentro vivido que permita sentir y registrar más allá del cliché?  ¿Cómo pasar del relato para poder acercarse más al paisaje? 

En esta ponencia vuelvo a un material parcial del archivo etnográfico mio para ahondar en los relieves, los tonos y las resonancias tal vez pueda registrar nuevamente por medio de “la escucha”. Con una atención detenida a dos fragmentos que provienen de trabajos de campo distintos—uno realizado de hace varios años en la selva alta del Perú; otro reciente y breve en una zona fronteriza colindante con Colombia y Brazil, busco resaltar el entorno (más allá de las palabras) para discriminar entre de lo que retorna, digamos una imagen, una simple impresión, y lo que no vuelve jamás… que en ese caso pareciera ser un tipo muy particular de silencio.
